Judging Criteria
Each phase of the competition will have a distinct score criteria depending on what is needed for the elimination. For the entry phase, scoring criteria are as follows:
Incomparable Craftsmanship
Brand knowledge and storytelling (20%)
Understanding of The Macallan brand, the whisky, its heritage, and how well it is integrated into the storytelling and the final cocktail.

Technique (20%)
Assesses the bartender's skill and proficiency in employing diverse cocktail-making techniques and the efficiency of their processes.
Creativity
Originality (20%)
Overall concept, focusing on the uniqueness of the cocktail design and ingredient selection, notably incorporating The Macallan creatively and distinctively.

Appearance (20%)
Assesses the cocktail's visual appeal and overall presentation, encompassing creativity in garnishes, choice of glassware, and the drink's aesthetic presentation.
Uncompromised Excellence
Taste (20%)
Evaluates the balance, flavour blend, and how well they align with the cocktail's theme or intended experience.
